A Moments Bliss

The sun shines down, warm, tingly

A chickadee sores, swoops, flys, free

The light spring breeze brushes my cheeks cooling them

Children playing with toys on the grass

Mothers watching cautiously as cars pass

Breathing in the fresh air

Out in a daze without a care

I wish this day could last forever

Break this moment of bliss I would never

Spring will pass and soon will come summer

That is the season I can't wait to come
