Like old gum on concrete
I guess your there
Ugly
Scrapings no use
The remnants remain
You just stick to it
Lock jawed
like a bull terrier
Just keep
Chomping at
The bit
On a random cycle
And a reactionary
Half thought
Spurred on
by the lack
Of submission.
Yanking your chain
Won't help
You want that
Rag doll
Torn to pieces
But it's too high up
on the shelf
Poor puppy
Sniffing at the gum
You just scraped with
Your bum
Worms again
Time for some
Metrifonate or
Diethylcarbamazine
Cure is a pain
And that gum
you swallowed
was better off
spat on the street
Cause it takes more
than seven years to digest
Mirror or no mirror crack
That gum stain keeps coming
back and those worms
Infest the apple of your
Vain eyes.
