a beggar and a prince

We all have struggle with those

merchants

of light and darkness

inside of us

It is a strange throne – to be

both

beggar and prince

at once

Like a princely star, we consume

our very soul,

to throw light into the darkest

voids

Other times, we ourselves consume

bigger dinners

than a black hole

beggar,

consuming all the light around us

As prince, we consume our substance

to give light

But while beggar, we consume the light

to avoid detection

None of us, are wholly good

or bad

For all of us, are both a beggar

and a prince

Absolutely! You conclude that

Absolutely! You conclude that both polarities are neither good or bad; two sides of the coin; the rhythm of existence. With a savvy, startling and metaphorical eye, you show us ultimate reality behind the curtain, and it's such a life-altering revelation! To accept it brings clarity, self-acceptance and peace. Eloquent words to grow by.

there are many shades

Between light and darkness, there are many shades… and they are all part of the human experience.
