Black Holes

At my window, facing the south.
I see shadows of delicate, cotton candy, pink clouds.
Hard to catch their beauty,
As tears fog my vision.

The sun sets.
Can I move on like the sun?
As she passes the horizon, and says goodbye to all darkness, for she is light herself.
Can I feel like the sun?
Can I let go of all past thoughts,
And move to what I want?
I just want to enlighten the world, day by day, like the sun.
Is it possible? Even with all distractions, obstacles, and prevailing stars?

Should I quit after years of no accomplishment.
Or should I keep trying.
Try.
A word used for the intention of failure.

So I am a stellar nebula,
And you are all supernova.
Already found, and beautiful, and life accomplished.
But,
Supernova will turn into a black hole,
Sucking in everything at sight.
Taking stellar nebula.

So here I am,
Looking out south.
Tears are wiped,
Sky is dark.

Makes a lot more sense to live a dark cloud, with a never-ending cycle of wonders.
Using my, real, emotions to enlighten the world.
Not, obnoxious, pink shadows.
Dark and thick,
Rainclouds.
Full of opportunities.

Wow, I'm sorry!

I am so sorry! I didn't notice these comments until now. @Jonzac, I agree, I like the comparisons as well! I use them all the time, if no ones noticed yet. Anywho, both of your insights is very well thought out. I'm glad that someone actually understood the comparisons and star cycle (such that supernova is the end of a stars life, and stellar nebula being the close beginning.) I know many supernova... But I also know the posers of supernova. The ones who try too hard. The pink clouds, you could say. One day, they'll become rain clouds too.. But black holes (from true supernova) always remain.

FAR ABOVE US ALL

its the perception of all viewers
that is skewed
man is more than nebula's
supernovas and black holes
man is the mere though imperfect
embodiment of his own soul
the physical you speak of is
all things temporal
like the proverbial apple and orange
theory
perfection can not aspire to be
like mere imperfect things
for even the flesh that houses
the perfect creation within
is that not more than
the components of an unthinking
star
that can only light up brighter and
brighter until it eventually
dims itself out
learning nothing from its
existence
other than it was there
and then it was not
self awareness is a beautiful
thing
another precious gift to the human
brain
I think if indeed those stars and sun
you speak of could think
they would rather long themselves
to be human
and would likely wish to compare
themselves to the beauty of
a saint
and to
the likes of A Mother Teresa
no doubt
would that make them any more
enlightened
perhaps
and perhaps not
but isn't it lovely to be human
and a poet
and have this ability blessed upon
you by God
to think about and create such
otherworldly things
for other humans
and not burning or deadened stars
