To My Other Half

I know your out there, laying awake like me.
Were both in the same boat, were of the far too many.
The Victims. Candidates, for love's casualties.
Oh, don't you sulk, Baby, now don't you cry.
Cause’ you never know, I might be walking  on by.
Its better of you to show the world your pirate smile.
I know we'll find each other one day, It'll just take awhile.
Love, I know the dream is gone but one day we'll be one.
If you'd only cross my path, I'd make you laugh.
I'll wake your inner child, I'll fill you heart with glee.
I'd find in you the same thing you'd want in me.
We'll watch the sunset under the comfort of the willow tree.
I'll be yours if you'll be mines, amongst the dandelions.
Sleepy-head , do rest your eyes, off to bed you should be.
So tomorrow you can cast them lovingly down on me.

Author's Notes/Comments:
