Ode to my father

Folder:
innocence

The silent love

i had not known

the bittersweet way

in which i have grown

the selfless days

that I have been given

and all the time

I have been living

from winter's delightful breeze

to autumns cold nights

you have been there by my side

one hand to hold tight

in my darkest hour of sorrow

and my brightest moment still

you have been there watching and guiding

my way through the rugged and rocky hill.

Dear Ronit
I literally panicked receiving a note in my junk because lately I am plagued by spam, false id, and too much garbage.
Quickely I checked back at Post Poem to find out what was really going on and found your poems under innocence.
Ode to my father is one of the most touching tribute to your father.
Every line has subtle expression of the very subtle emotional attachment to the father - someone who gives selflessly world's most precious treasure - love.
Hindi is National language so you can guess...
Yes, I am a Bong
