Falling

Folder:
Blah

I traced the veins in my arm tonight

Hoping to find the cowardice to cut one open

And let all my troubles bleed out onto the floor

Ending this miserable farce

That I used to call a life

Before I realized

All I was doing

Was wasting time

So now I want to stop

Wasting

Air, space, time

And fall back into the arms

Of a million and one empty souls

Clamoring for a way out of hell

The heat blistering their skin

The cold freezing off fingers and toes

So it looks like they're falling apart

Slowly

One piece at a time

Just like my heart

Just like my soul

Fell apart

After I lost faith in you.

This poem is amazing. It moves me into the inner depths of my thought I try to avoid. It makes me want to cry. Truly magnificent. Very unfortunate if you really feel this way though, very unfortunate.
