Gold Box

This gold box lies in my treasure chest,
teasing and taunting with such fantasy.
Green eyes shimmer with overwhelming desire,
against its nude reflection.
My jewels have been taken,
given that wet tongues have melted into fire.
Gold's hands eccentuate every inch of every sensuous moment,
leading our secrets dissolved into their own solution.
Naked truth now exposed,
leaves the wanted wanting more.
Intensity, wild enthusiam, broken rules,
yet; a tender heart at rest throughout the sleepless night.
Breathing through sighs of a sober dream,
it's known, that I want you.
One day, one night to be.

Prose Poem Devices

"...leaves the wanted wanting more." Here is a uniqueness of syntax that made me say WOW! I also enjoyed reading the sparking surreal. Amen - slc

hi Sonya,

I stumbled on your poetry by chance, and boy, am i glad to have stumbled. Smilesz.
You show much insight and flair in this poetry, especially this line:
'The truth now exposed, leaves the wanted wanting more.'

One who is tossing and turning throughout the night, random thoughts flitting through her mind, remembering the past and hoping for a dearly missed one.

Well-painted. Congrats. Smilesz.
