Racing for Home

Win the day, we sprint to seek, a mount to climb, reach a peak
see a prize, leap the course, place love's ribbon at it's source
Rider's heels dig in our sides, we lather up to feel alive
and when we bolt, kick, rear, then we shop to groom our fear
A kinder course we spy in stride, yet blinders wear our hearts to ride
a path so rare! The journey home, a steed, a mare,,,for weary bones
An ageless tail a dash in time, embrace your truth make Living Rhyme!
For when the trail is rank and cold, a wintry track can brand your soul
And when you find events so lost, you'd cross a line to pay the cost
Look aside, astride, it's me, a racing heart,,,and yours for free
