I swear in NJ I'm cursed,

it's there I got treated the worst.

Every single best friend I had from here

has caused me pain, regret and tears.

The good friends I had they weren't from this state

or people from here recognized me when it was too late.

All my good friends then moved away,

seems like the good ones don't seem to stay.

So I moved on and went to college,

Pennsylvania is the state I can acknowledge.

Made great friends there in PA,

so it seems that is where I should stay.

Maybe it's good to get away from the worst,

by getting out of the state where I seem cursed.
