I hate myself today.

For 1500 days I have despised the way i survive

On the rediculous shit

That makes you addicted

And makes you give in all you earn

We have mastered everything except for ouselves

And the science that could go into

Making us live twice as long

Instead goes into the best ways

To keep us returning

To hand over money to buy things

Like cancer and diebetes

And a side order of heart attacks

Naturally occuring is where we belong

I want to gather the fruits of the Earth,

I want to hack my prey into bits,

I want to feel alive.

I like this. A Cynic would agree to this although I have other thoughts moreover. As the Machinized Age consumes us, even with its benefits, enters the social issues, complications, and possible deterioration of the human condition.

"Simplicity, simplicity, simplicity," Thoreau once stated which is the clear cut message I like about this poem. Great write. (^_^)
