I gotta take the time to think and stop feeling,

allow my mind to agree with my hearts dealings,

i know it's real and i may need it when i'm older,

subconsciously dig deep in my mental folder,

i refuse to grow colder, ease any storm,

just locked eyes with her today and already i'm warm,

already i'm running through the ways to make me

the man i dream i can be, no one can mistake me

as a man who faked the simple smiles and wishes,

a man who pretended during complicated kisses,

what is this? i only feel this way for you,

and for once in my life, i have no clue what to do,

i gotta take the time to look around me and calm

the mind that looks down on creative arms,

must give myself time to think things over,

and properly judge love in case i need it when i'm older.
