Never look and compare with anothers dish,

or allow the reaction to mentally create some wish,

don't overthink some dumb kiss, what is this?

am i some 15 year old teen being dismissed?

the skies and stars are for show, so look here,

i don't wanna think of you ever again after this year,

i fear i'll never get over and go,

the girl who truthfully i used to know,

was it all for show? look at how happy you are?

without my sun, you still manage to shine like a star,

didn't last long, had all i could tolerate,

so i left that bar for another date,

walking with the city, lights shining without you,

even some shining without ever knowing about you,

so maybe i can too, at least i'm gonna try,
