I try to resist the urge

To smile as you walk by

But there’s just something about you

Something that catches my eyes



I smile when I see you

And smile when your not there

I could not start to explain

How much I truly care



But I don’t want to annoy you

And I don’t want to make you cry

Because I know I’m making matters worse

Because your already with a guy



So this is a confession

But an apology at the same time

And the only way I could tell you

Is in this pathetic  rhyme
