Tangled I was on a web so strong

A dream of a life I thought I secured

A mirage was all I chased

Leaving behind the life I had to face



Thoughts of greed

Thoughts of lust

Thoughts of cruelty

Led my way

Led me to an everlasting empty space

So now I could die and burn in hell



I did not see the light in my life

So slipping through my fingers is you my life

Memories so sweet

Feelings so deep

I lost them all

So blood is all I cry



Slipping through my fingers you are

Taking away my life

But I won’t grieve tonight!!!



Fly away my humming bird

Find your homely nest

Take my life away with you

My soul will be at rest
