Education and knowledge of masses, begins with few. We gotta learn from and teach each other. There's absolutely no point in continuing in the current direction we're headed, we need to make that turn at the crossroads... Peace

"Dr. Kings Dream, Alive In Me"

August 28, 1963

On the steps at the Lincoln Memorial, in Washington

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said, "...I still have a dream..."

Thirty nine years later, his dream

Remains to be mocked,

By the ignorance that rules a species

That has the potential

To eliminate such a word, as ignorance, from our vocabulary.

Freedom rings not!

In this society of less-than equals.

It rings in the dead souls of the living.

Never surfacing,

Non-existing.

But I will redeem Dr. Kings Dreams

As I resurrect the souls of the people

Who died for a cause,

And project the unselfishness of their cries

To be "Free at last, free at last..."

Into the future of my children...

I unfortunately do not believe

That I will see the day in my lifetime,

That I can exhale the pain and suffering

Through the words,

"Thank God Almighty, we are free at last..."

But not a day will go by

That I won't be able to stand up.

And say with the utmost authority,

That "I STILL HAVE A DREAM!"

Because I feel it,

High above in my soul's existence

That one day, we as a people will be free.

I know with absolute certainty that this can be.

Yeah, in the back of some of your minds

Capitalism flicks its switch,

And you shake your heads cause you won't see it before you're dead.

And most of us won't force ourselves to go vote...

Cause you don't see the direct effects

As soon as you punch a hole in that card.

And now we're ruled by a republican majority...

Even the most hard core capitalist,

Will feel the wrath of its own evil.

Yeah, I still have a dream and always will

Cause it doesn't get me anywhere only doing for self.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said, "...I still have a dream..."

Dr. King's dream is alive in me

And me is alive in the souls of the people

Who died for a cause...

I don't know what I'm gonna do

But I'm gonna do something...

And don't know what to tell you to.

But I'm gonna do something.
