A WALK ON THE MOON

wavering moonlight

I remember most

the glow

‘neath the shade

of palm fronds

creeping from

the sky

strung on golden

wire

color me

like chrysalis moon

I strut, float

we’re together

landscape

stars

universe

rocks

upon my

feet

I opened

somnambulist

eyes

a walk

to bed

I need

to sleep.

A WALK ON THE MOON
wavering moonlight
I remember most
the glow

creeping from

One giant step for man...and God save the ladies...
