The Fall of Lucifer

Folder:
Light and Dark

Oh! Angel of music how far have you fallen!
You no longer possess the position you had.
An angel of light, with a demon behind it;
Only a mask and nothing more.
Why did you think you could fool your Creator?
Does the clay hold more authority than the potter?
In all of creation you are the strongest,
But God is not of His own making.
Did your vanity lead you to believe that you could defeat Him;
He who is all goodness, love, light, and power?
Is a painting stronger than it’s painter?
Or a book wiser than it’s writer?
The painting can be destroyed,
The book can be burned
Until there is nothing left
No remembrance of their existence.

Oh! That you have fallen so far!
Your days are numbered, and yet you still take a stand!
Your end was foreknown, preordained, before your creation
For the Lord is omniscient and is omnipotent.
Will you still continue to fight?
I know your plan;
To hurt a father, one attacks his children.
But you do not fear the wrath of the Father?
I know this as well, and so do you
You know your time is coming soon
And so you attempt as much harm as you can.
You are no longer my master,
My slave-debt was payed for at the cross,
While I saw my savior die my death, and you danced with glee.
Oh Death! Where is you r Victory? Death! Where is your sting?
For my Savoir lives! And has defeated you;
Through death my Savoir defeated death.
And now I look back, and am sorrowful,
You, Lucifer, will find justice at the throne of Christ.
You have no hope, no chance in your rebellion,
And yet you attempt to play God,
But you’ll never have the capital “g”.
You’re fated to lose,
And for all your power I would not take your place.
Oh! How far you have fallen!
And still you have more distance to fall.

Twisted.

Coiled within your words.
Excellent write.
