Here within my saddened heart,
I seem to have lost a part
Something is missing deep inside
I wonder does it hide?
Reflections on a troubled past
My heart may not last
Aching with a constant hurt
Love lays in the dirt
Sorrowing embers of love lost
It comes at great cost
Wounded in loves awful battle
Was I just a chattel
Distant memories of distant times
Life no longer rhymes
Sadness and grief’s that overwhelm
No one now at the helm
Sinking into the pit of darkness
Who hears my distress
Reaching out for uncertain dreams
Stuck in another's schemes
My saddened heart now lays dieing
Can you hear me crying
