Peace has the power to cause one to rest

It brings in its breast its force at its best

Peace is the stuff that can settle the heart

It wings on the clouds its tender affections

Peace is the emotion that calms the mind

It scatters its quietness down in the soul

Peace has its passion all bundled within

To bring on its wings its power to thee



Peace has gentility, softness and concern

It will take over a troubled and tested mind

Peace has its refinement in enhancing moods

It will sneak into ones distressed heart of pain

Peace will not falter but will come time and again

To leave in your spirit its haunting sweet refrain

Peace with its pursuit of pleasures timely given

Will carry it message to all who seek it source



There is a Peace reaching deep down in my heart

It comes in tides of rippling waves unto my soul

There is a Peace, which passes all understanding

It comes in floodgates of its continual blessings

There is a Peace that satisfies all my deepest need

It gives me all my heart and my soul has decreed

There is a Peace that brings comforts and console

It touches my body in many ways to make it whole
