Lies

"You lied! You lied!"
He screamed, he pulled.
Was his life over?
He did not know.
Was his love shattered?
He did not know.
"You lied! You lied!"
It was over, no more.
"Death, come take me!"
he thought to himself.
His tears silent witness
to the echoes in his soul.
He was amused once
at others' pain.
Now he was not
amused anymore.
"You lied! You lied!"
Was it the end?
He did not know.
Was it all over?
He did not know.
No meaning anymore.
No plan.
No purpose.
Just pain.
Pain.
Pain.
"I can't stand the pain!"
He was crying. Why not?
Why should he not
express his pain?
She was a tramp.
A loose bitch who
set out from a cold womb.
With this, he took
out his knife
and cut her
love from his life.
