O night star, o bright star -

Steadfast, daring, bold,

Not for you the daylight -

Bright sun, staring, old.



Splendrous, sparkling being

Gaze on hill and vale.

Sanctify all you touch

In each dell and dale.



Blessings shine from afar -

Silver kiss from sky,

Sparking lovers' murmurs

Though sweet dawn be nigh.
