We are the rejected stumbling blocks
.. we have become His temple cornerstones
We the 11th hour workers... grateful for the grace.
We the 100th lambs.. for whom the angels rejoice
We the last He makes the first
We the least of His brethren.. He cares about the most

FOUNTAIN BUBBLES

The snowman
the ice sculptured eagle
the sand castle
fountain bubbles
... ephemeral form
but the formless essence
remains
*
CIRCLE SPARKLES

*

A puddle by a street lantern
in a soft rain of night
Each circumscribing raindrop
reflects sparkles of
lamplight
*
HEARTS IGNITED
*
Ember of
the heart of fire
reaches out to
kiss the kindling
... soon there
are many ignited
hearts linking

SQUABBLE

He threw books by her guru
into the nearby creek.
She in 2 year old retaliation
dumped his shoes in the mailbox.
One wonders where the
postman sent them.

PRIMOGENITURE

One twin boy was
born two minutes
after the other.
Their sister was older
than both.
The older twin
inherited all.
The stuff of which
murders were made.

ROOM

Said one:
There is no room
at the inn
no room for more
than two
upon the ark
no room there
no room here
no room in the heart

Said another:
There is not just 1 inn
but many mansions
infinite mansions
There is not just one ark
but fleets everywhere
There is room here
There is room there
There is room in all hearts.

but springmelt

creates flow
and the remaining
flakes are
streamriven
