1. Harvesting
The movie "Days Of Heaven" shows the birds and rabbits
killed or evicted by harvesting machines. A University of Oregon
teacher has estimated 3 mammals an acre are killed by harvesters.
This is a very low estimate. There are thousands of insects,
snakes, nesting birds, rabbits, and other creatures killed per
acre.
2. Buying non-organic food
Buying food treated with insecticides kills not only
thousands of insects but Mother Earth's water systems
and all life which depends on it.
3. Buying packaged food made of tree paper
Buying packaged food destroys habitat.
4. Eating plants rather than the products of plants
The consciousness of plants has been demonstrated
in the research of Chandra Bose, knighted by Queen Victoria,
in research cited in Peter Tompkins' The Secret Life of Plants
and many other areas
