Misleading The Little Ones
Christians believe that Jesus said as recorded in Matthew 18: 6
'But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that he not have been born'. When parents encourage their
children to eat the flesh of murdered animals, they are harming the souls
and the bodies of their offspring as well as the animals and the planet.
Hinduism, Buddhism, Sufism, Isaiah (He that slays an ox is as he that slays a man') all have passages promoting abstention from meat and fish. Islam
speaks of God as all merciful.
This misleading of their children is often done in ignorance. It can have
devastating consequences. Analysis of serial killers is that in nearly every case they were taught to kill on a farm in which animals or birds were killed,
taught to hunt, to slay in the military, to vivisect in biology classes, etc.
