her art

Well what does she want me to say?

I just wanted her to be happy

Or at least miserable without me

But now the only thing I get is her walking away.

Such small sparks that keeps my pathetic fire alive

It’s just you to blame

But you’re worth the pain

This battle between heart and mind and you survive

Let’s keep this distance more consistent

It’s a horizontal plate

Of what she can’t keep straight

But darling at least your uncertainness is persistent

She kisses me like she isn’t the one breaking my heart

It’s just slacked line

A flaw in the design

This act of touch and go, she has made it an art.
