And there is something about the night that makes me miss you

And there is something about the day that makes me miss you

And I’ve never been all that good at compiling words

And I know that you’re only being fair

And I know that you’re only trying to do what is right

And I wish there was an easier way

And I wish you knew how I feel right now

And I hate how these days drag on without you with me

And I love the way you make me feel when you’re with me

And I hate how everything reminds me of you

And I love how much you’re apart of my life

And I thought I would be strong enough

And I know that forever is too much to ask

And I know our future is nothing but text and loneliness

And I wish you knew how much I want you here

And I was stupid to think this was working

And I know things will never be the same

And I remember your smile

And I miss your kiss

But I know I shouldn’t say things like this anymore
