I loved therefore I lost

I feel like Descartes these days

Always selective and rejective with emotion

Perpetually going through lovers till I find the doubt and kick them out

Becoming more radically apposed to sensory data

How his hands felt, kiss was met, eyes looked into mine while we made love…

Is any of it reliable?

Did I love him?

Did he love me?

And if he did love me then how can I say he did not

How can I say anything now?

When my silence speaks for him not me

When the light of insight darkens the shadows

They say when we’re close to something that’s when we know we don’t know

Yet that’s when I knew the most

So if I no longer trust that what do I trust?

And how do I know I wasn’t just dreaming all along?

Oh no! Good wow!

You know I love the battle of introspection vs intellect. Keep up the margin poems! Distractions can be focusing! I've found when I'm wearing my self out clearing brush or something, my mind actually has started to clear for writing ;-) love the poem Dear!

I have a sweat stained notebook full of scribbles I need to translate! It will be a deluge! (At least for me! assuming I don't chunk them when I translate them;-)

With mine, that seems to be where the good stuff lurks, & I bet it's the same with yours! Get busy Dear ;-)

I love how you play with

I love how you play with language and twist thought and ideas. :)
