A troubled mind can find no rest
A restless soul no home to stay
And so it is that I am here
When my soul longs to find its bay

I am growing old and getting weary
From my rabbit need to run away
Yet still I concede to run
As I hunt for another wolf to slay

An outside viewer may just know best
Yet the best words we never say
And so my mind lives in fear
For the speeches of a new formed day

My life is heavy with memories dreary
It’s the past that gets in my way
And so I find that I am done
So from here on out come what may

Roaming from sea to sea never setting bay
