My Ideal

I drifted your way with stars in my eyes,
An open heart for you to play upon.
Then yours met mine and I longed to realize
The freedom of your chest as lain upon.
Could I have your arms to be held inside,
Arms stronger than any fortress that stands
And gentler than autumn leaves in their glide,
A sudden wellspring beyond arid lands?
Let's leave town, sleep out under the stars -
You'll teach me about them and I'll smile
With gratitude for a moment all ours,
Safe and warm in your grasp all the while.
They said my ideal was for fairy tales
But I have final say on the details,
And they're here in the flesh. My wish came true.
I could see them all with one look at you.

Fairy Tales

I've been exploring them lately along with nursery rhymes - for them to come true is a blessing. Enjoyed this one (I don't think you mean chest, breast?) unless gay, then chest works. WHERE YOU BEEN? Glad you're back. - Lady A -

Yes indeed.

I'm gay, but feel free to change it to 'breast' to suit your needs!
