Invigorated beyond all dreams

I ever possessed for imagining,

I’m one hair’s breadth from apart at the seams,

Transformed now by this sudden happening.

With pleasure I dive into the affair 

Giving full sway to all that surrounds me,

Flourishing with an unusual flair

So effortless it rightly astounds me.

Prisms pulsate, expanding, contracting,

Seamlessly bouncing on and off my skin.

I marvel at the hot lights refracting,

Grateful that they lift me from where I’ve been.

Ultraviolets, sour candy rainbows -

This riot of riches ignites my soul.

I lap up each drop and my inside glows

As each pigment rebuilds me, makes me whole.

This is a blissful time of reckoning,

A warm and sacred purification.

I’m blessed to feel the lights now beckoning,

Gazing up at them in adoration.
