Nothing Changes

Time goes by, yet still I stand,

Missing you - not a second passes.

Yes, I live on; but so doth my pain. My sorrow.

You're still gone.

But then I stop and listen to the echo of the winds,

And in it - your voice whispers.

For the pain never stopeth, but neither shall ye.

I walk, and even along the longest of roads; you are with me.

You walk beside me each and everyday.

And night.

I know you are not gone. But it hurts,

for you are not here.

I cannot touch you. I cannot see you. I cannot hear you.

But rest assured I will never forget you.
