MASQUERADE

When you're gray,

Come out and play

In my fields of masquerade.

Cast your dreams and fears aside

To be carried away by the rising tide

And swept away.

And don't be afraid.

Just throw out your frustrations,

And don't be ashamed

To shed a tear if you feel the need

To masquerade.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Masquerade shows how important it is to me for people to have the freedom of expression, and to find-and be- their true selves.
