Since we first met online

I had a interest in you

And you me

We exchanged numbers

And continue to talk

We both have families of our own

You are older than I

And I younger than you

But every time I get a text from you

I smile and open it right away

I don't want to sound desperate or

Immature

I struggle to find words to say

We talk when we can

You and I have jobs

And children

They might not be ours

But they are still family

And what is yours is mine

I hope my family will be yours as well

I know everyone has their own

Issues

But what matters the  most

Is going through them as a couple

Which I hope we get too

But even if we don't your still
