Tomorrow shines a light on the tears of yesterday
While today is left in the middle of the pain
Some meaningless joke insufferably vain
A constant reminder of memories replayed
And as I break myself free from the chains
I feel the weight of all the past mistakes

Somehow, confined to my own fate
I must find, in me, some way
To let go of everything
That I let bear down on me

So, I walk alone
Seeking solace on this road
Toe to heel, and heel to toe
Never knowing where I'll go

Always looking up into the sky
Searching for some meaning or sign
No knowing if I've been wrong or right
In the choices I've made in this life
