I have this unfettered need
The uncontrollable whim within me
Burning to be released
Chiding for me to heed

I cannot make it go away
It's with me every day
It stops just long enough to say
That I have to find a way

I have to chase my dream
Stop waiting in between
The world and where I want to be
And I will follow anywhere it leads

Now, I don't seem to be the same
Ever since you came my way
I see you in my thoughts each day
I found a dream I have to chase

You're with me in my sleep
It's like you're laying here by me
I don't know if it's meant to be
But it's a risk that's worth taking

From the stories that we make
And all the kindest words we say
The thoughts we can't contain
And all the rules that we could break

I have to chase my dream
Stop waiting in between
The world and where I want to be
And I will follow anywhere you lead

There was a time when I was changed
I didn't used to be this way
But since you found me on that day
I found a dream I need to chase

So now I'll chase into the dream
Because you're worth the risk it takes
I think you're all that I will need
And you're the dream I want to chase

You're the dream inside of me
Your the risk I want to take
You're the one I truly need
