Effected by what affects it
Caused to create what's effected

The only real constant
The only real truth
Effect made from cause
Just like the lies that came from you
The only true instance
Thing only thing to do
Effects born were caused
By why I ran from you

Cause defines the reasons
Effect the repurcussions
Caused by choice of treason
Effected with succession

When I sit here and think about all things
How life has led me to this place
When I ponder all life's memories
And how I got this way
I return to the cause
To garner truth from its effect
It makes me take some pause
As I take time to reflect
Just as a sentence needs its clause
My story needs a subject

Cause defines the meaning
Effect determines fallout
Caused by lies and cheating
Effected mental doubts

So when I sit and wonder
About everything I've seen
My mind begins to wander
To everything I've been
And when I do remember
I remember everything
So here's to truths and candor
Here's to reality
