You tell me you can't handle the way I talk to her, you say she's yours and you don't want to share. 
Yes, you love her and she loves you, but our friendship is also true. 
Were you there when she was in pain, were you in the midst of all the rain. 
Did you try to be the sun when she saw all of the clouds, or pull her up when she started to drown? 
I would never make her choose between me and you, but the truth is that's exactly what you are making her do.
I tell her I love her because I truly do, being her friend means I promise to be there through and through. 
I call her hun so she knows I'm there, not just a person but an ignitable flair, 
I'll be there in the midst of the dark, someone who could light up her world with just one single spark. 
So, in conclusion, I won't back down she is my friend and I promised to keep her safe and sound. 
If you don't want me to talk to her or even be her friend, how unfortunate for you, always having to play pretend.
