I feel like I could fly

I never thought I’d be this high

This new fuel to feed the fire

My trail thinner than a wire

A new sensation with every mile

Urged further by your smile



I feel like I could sprint

Around the world and back again

An energy source so willing to give

A light to navigate this den

The whole world is covered with lies

But all is right when I look in your eyes



The universe must be an oyster

To produce such a beautiful pearl

It’s as though you can see through me

And when you do my nerves unfurl

All that is left is the hardest part

To see if you will let me in your heart
