my greatest fear is jumping ship before we're even sinking

or maybe its staying on board while we are both drowning

a good captian goes down with the ship

but a better one keeps it afloat

and saves us both

no longer can i enjoy the rocking of the waves

now all my time is occupied by the desperate search for why i set sail in the first place

i'm hoplessly lost and terribly disheartened

in stormy waters that i thought that i charted
