It is knowing that your arms are waiting to enfold me,

that makes my day worthwhile,

And though the day goes by somewhat coldly,

you warm it nightly with your smile.

My love so strong that I can hardly hold it,

makes the universe seem small.

Your form can take my love and mold it,

but you could never hold it all.

I love you so strongly and intensely,

my mortal being can hardly stand it,

Helpless, hopelessly, immensely,

the wonder that is you demands it.

My darling take my love, embrace it,

and heal my troubled heart.

Take my pain, my dear, erase it,

please tell me we will never part.

My days away from you are lonely.  

It is for you I live.

My loving nights are for you only.  

I’ll warm you with the love I give.

When we’re apart from one another

I hope you know that you are missed,

At night when we are with each other,

it’s then my lonely soul is kissed.

Dear soulmate know I love you dearly.  

I cannot bear to be apart.

Love me completely, not just merely.  

Take me, body, soul, and heart.

Your touch turns on my fires of passion

and when we kiss I hope you know,

My love will never be a ration

and from now on will only grow.
