smart food makin me think
im eatin smart food but still feel dumb
my thoughts are as numerous as the crumbs
feeling stupid for i have fallin prey to cupid
tryin to find a soul mate, but to love im the new kid
feel like im new to life will i ever grow accustomed
to how we do, what we do, i must umm
grow a pair, life aint fare, do i dare
to tread the deeper waters, to tread where im scared
to go, and glow, blow up the ocean
on top my shoulders, let go of strife im holding
cause you see, me, im a self loathing dumb ass
for i hold onto pain, instead of letting it go fast
fast fast, let it go down the toilet
cause this life no longer do i wanna spoil it
hopefully i can get my shit together yo
so my name will be forever known
Treading Water
"to tread the deeper waters" is a fine line of poetry. Meaning trumps the way you say - clearity obscures the music and the rhymes were definitly out to lunch. Rhymes take so much thought and time. That's why I avoid them. ~~A~~ (toilet and spoil it however is perfection!) :D

i love rhyming it makes me think of what i want to say better/deeper. as for the deeper waterss, the shallow water is no where for a big fish
