I will sell roadside vegetables
I've decided that I want to make a living
selling vegetables and boiled peanuts
in a makeshift stand on an old country road.
I'll have a radio splattered with
off-white house paint.
Miles and Billie will keep me company.
There will be no contact number
and the asphalt will bake
In the southern sun.
