Took a walk last night to the Win-co grocery store on Vista Way.

Everything was right.

The moon was perched on high

and sitting sideways in full regalia.

It was kissing the tops of trees and travelers,

those both aloof and those aware.

I heard the rustling of folks living in their van as I walked by,

probably to get a better look,

accessing friend or foe.

It was beautiful outside.

Jacket weather in Southern California as the night 

settled in with it's companion frost, close behind.
