The day the little boy drowned

When a little boy tried to swim, he went down.

I don't know how to swim either and I had to watch him drown.

He couldn't have been older than ten.

Now his friends and family will never see him again.

My life used to be filled with pride and joy.

Now life is a nightmare because of what happened to that boy.

Everyday I put my head in my hands as I cry.

Life has been unbearable since the day I saw him die.
