Rewrite of Richie Sambora's Made In America
We make 'em in America
Ever since the dawn of our country's time
Line 'em up like robots in factories
And we have the nerve to ask
Why they keep on crossing each and every line
Listening to the underground radio
They're raising up every Muslim kid
How can we ever be alright?
Even a small town solider boy
He can get jaded and mean
Turning on everything
In the American dream
Forgets his conscience
In a world full of outta control extremes
Fresh outta high school
Only 18
You tell me
How it's ever gonna be alright
Blinded by a man man's vision
Can there ever be any turning back?
Or like a runaway train
Are we gonna go down?
Crashing off the track
Sometimes I doubt we'll ever make it out
Outta this mess alive
But the president just keeps on ignoring
A problem growing
Hanging on
Every night is it useless to pray to Jesus?
Have we really fallen so far
On the side of wrong
Are we gonna be alright?
Will we land on our feet?
We're makin' 'em in America
Bringin' 'em up on every street
Good old fashioned indepence
Enough for you and me
But for them
A dictarship is perfered
Makin' 'em in America
Yeah, we're makin' 'em in America
*spoken*
The present to destory our future
Gotta start fighting back
Caring more about policis
The the latest Kardisna bullshit
Dumber and dumber
It seems that each one that turns 21
The real music of Lennon they shun
For the freakshow antics of whoever is raping
Country or rapping some nonsense
At the moment
And now younger and younger
Those bullies are forcing our kids
Onto the wrong end of a gun
Got no more creative inspiration
We steal whatever ideas we can get
To the good life we used to have
Have we really said forever goodbye?
Will we ever again be alright?
Guess we'll all have to lose our innocence
Before of sanity
We can once more take hold
9/11
Oh if we had known then
What we know now
Feels like we're all headed
Into another endless war so cold
Well we can kiss those younger, better days goodbye
Even through it breaks the heart
(Does it break your heart?)
NWO
New World Order
Gotta adjust to some growing pains
All of us
Alone in their own way
Driving blind in the dark
Are we ever again gonna be alright?
Like cats can we land back on our feet?
Knowing what we do
We make 'em in America
Bring 'em up on every street
Facin' up
Can't be afraid
To be facin' up
To the fact
We're slowly day by day
Losing every last bit of our freedom
Guess we'll all have to lose our innocence
Before of sanity
We can once more take hold
9/11
Oh if we had known then
What we know now
Feels like we're all headed
Into another endless war so cold
Are we ever again gonna be alright?
Like cats land on our feet
After the final realization sinks in
We're makin' 'em in America
Gotta face up
To what we're makin' 'em
Our younger generation turning into
The death of the American dream
Makin' 'em in America
Yeah too long
We've been makin' 'em in America
Ladies and gentlemen
You tell me
Is it too late?
To stop makin' 'em in America
Makin' 'em in America

Make 'em in america:
Your concern for your countries future is evident. I personaly don't know how to define the American Dream, but as you say It is worthwhile. Liked the rhyming of the poetry also. I'm sure America has a future and room for all its peoples Dreams.
