How To Hang A Jew

Your hate I will not learn
All your many fears I will not share
Lost in a land of endless confusion
Hopeless and alone
Mind narrowed and closed to any views but your own
A scowl upon your lips
Twists your once handsome face into an ugly, cold mask
A mask that I refuse to wear upon my own flawed facade

Stunned by the sheer force of your unrelenting fury
I find that I must turn away
Turn away before I am forever blinded
Forever drown into that cold, cruel world in which you dwell
Alone and bitterly
Bitterly accusing
Hating those whose beliefs in the lord above do not match your own
Griefing me to see what a broken man you have become

How I could have been so wrong
How I missed this
Your most fatal and devious flow
I'll never know
All I know is this
No longer can I stand by and watch
Watch while you judge and so harshly tear them apart
Blaming all the wrongs of this world
Upon the most innocent victims of them all
Your own family and friends

The last straw
My back and heart broken now
Forced to move on with my life
Without you by my side to drag me down
Deep down into that bitter cold abyss
So crude and unaccepting
Rejecting the path of the rightous son
Instead choosing to walk along a dark and narrow path
To your own doom
Begging me to join you on your wicked journay, but I will not
No, lover I will not

I will not learn your hate
All your worse fears I will not share
No, my beloved
So selfish and cruel
I will not
I swear that I will not learn
