Tick, Tick and Stop.

The clock struck twelve strokes,

The pendulum swam,

Through the air it divided,

Through the silence chimes rang.

Crept up the staircase,

Then through my door,

Dived past my ear,

Made my sense stir.

My eyes were carefree,

My dream was such bliss,

Yet to my soul,

Something was amiss.

Flying down levels,

Stare at my clock,

Listen for silence,

Tick, tick, and stop.
