Torn Love

I lie there broken,

My tears flowing like a river,

The sound of a broken heart weeping,

Tears eating away the pain.

Falling from my swollen bloodshot eyes,

Pain in my aching chest,

A broken heart from love,

Shattered into a thousand million pieces.

An Angel, cast out of Heaven,

A Demon, cast from Hell,

A Soul, ripped from its body,

A Life, taken from the earth.

The cruel hand that held the heart,

The fragile heart that felt love,

The evil that held the heart,

Broke it into thousands.

Twisted fate that led them to suicide,

Her ghost that haunts his mind,

Clouded by fog: her face slowly disappears,

Slowly she dies in his head: and him in hers.
