Sensibilities

Moonless road beneath a stellar sky

Road winds, not needed to wonder why

We move to travel our life lived
Not to passage long a path comply

Footprints yet, road less traveled
Sum tallies not how arrived
We slip knots bound on right and wrong
Little-used, well-traveled

Take quiet heed of hushed birdsong
Knowing memories tag along
Gripping tightly, our already good taste
With balance, go thousands-years-long

Do not lay your good steps to waste
Journey roads bushy without haste;
Journey roads taken without haste
of knowing your already good taste
